Nada Holdings, Inc. (“Nada”), a financial technology company helping homeowners access and manage their home equity through innovative financial products, today announced a forward flow purchase agreement with a private fund for which O’Connor Capital Solutions acts as investment manager (“OCS”) providing up to $300 million to purchase Home Equity Agreements (“HEAs”) originated by Nada.
The partnership significantly expands Nada’s capacity to originate HEAs for homeowners across the United States.
This new partnership follows Nada’s strategic capital partnership with Medalist Partners announced in January 2026, adding a second major institutional capital partner to Nada’s platform in less than a year. Together, the relationships demonstrate accelerating institutional interest in both Nada’s origination platform and home equity agreements as an emerging residential asset class.
The new commitment comes during a period of rapid growth for Nada, with HEA originations increasing more than tenfold year over year in the first half of 2026, supported by growing homeowner demand and an expanding network of distribution partners. With the addition of OCS, Nada’s HEA program now has up to $500 million of institutional capital behind it, diversified across multiple capital partners to support continued growth.
“Partnering with OCS marks an important next stage in Nada’s growth,” said John Green, Founder and President of Nada. “OCS brings deep experience across real estate and structured credit, a highly collaborative approach and the capacity to grow with us. Their decision to partner with Nada is a strong validation of the platform we have built and gives us a strategic partner to scale responsibly for years to come.”
“We have spent a significant amount of time evaluating the home equity agreement market and think the asset class offers a compelling way to gain exposure to the U.S. residential real estate market. We were attracted to Nada’s team, technology platform, and ability to originate assets at scale, and we look forward to supporting the company’s continued growth,” said Joshua Mercado, Managing Director and head of the asset-based finance vertical at OCS.
U.S. homeowners held approximately $35 trillion in home equity as of the first quarter of 2026, according to Federal Reserve data. Yet higher mortgage rates have made cash-out refinancings less attractive, while HELOCs and home equity loans require monthly payments and generally rely on income, credit, and debt-to-income qualifications that may limit access for some homeowners. Nada’s Home Equity Agreement provides an alternative: homeowners receive cash today in exchange for a share of their home’s future value, without a required monthly payment. The agreement is settled when the homeowner sells or refinances the property, buys out the agreement, or reaches the end of the contractual term.
“Just months after announcing our first large-scale institutional forward flow partnership, we are adding another,” said Tore Steen, CEO of Nada. “It reflects the momentum we’re building across both sides of our platform — growing homeowner demand and institutional capital — as we scale Nada into a long-term leader in home equity finance.”
