NEW YORK, Oct. 23, 2026
NEW YORK, Oct. 23, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Alloop, an AI-native personal health technology company, officially unveiled its Trio at its New York City launch event, introducing a modular 3-in-1 health wearable alongside its open personal health platform. The event brought together technology experts, industry professionals, and guests to explore how artificial intelligence and wearable technology are changing the way people understand and manage their health.
The Alloop Trio features a compact sensing core that switches between a ring and wristband in seconds, letting users choose the form that fits their daily routines. A Halo module extends battery life and lets users interact directly with Alloop’s AI Health Agent by voice without opening the app or taking out their phone. Users can record meals, activities, symptoms, and daily experiences simply by speaking to the device, adding personal context to continuous physiological measurements.
Alloop also introduced its open personal health platform, which integrates information from compatible devices and services through Apple Health, Google Health, and Health Connect. Its AI Health Agent connects physiological data with lifestyle records to deliver personalized health insights, while letting users input everyday observations sensors alone cannot measure. The platform’s Bio Age assesses health-related patterns across six domains: sleep, activity, nutrition, cardiovascular, metabolic, and musculoskeletal health.
The launch featured an expert panel with Dr. Tony Wu, Founder and CEO of Alloop; Andrea Smith, veteran technology journalist and consumer technology expert; Dr. Kendra Ray, Research Assistant Professor at NYU Grossman School of Medicine and Chief Research Officer at CaringKind; and John Quain, technology journalist and bioethicist. The discussion explored the future of wearable health technology, AI’s role in interpreting personal health data, and the importance of understanding individual lifestyle context.
Frank Wong, Co-founder of Alloop, and Carter McGuyer, Founder of Carter McGuyer Design Group, explored the limitations of traditional wearable form factors, the engineering and ergonomic challenges of modular hardware, and how more intuitive AI interactions could make wearable technology easier to incorporate into daily routines.
Attendees explored Alloop’s hardware and software ecosystem through product demonstrations and hands-on experiences, offering a closer look at how modular sensing, voice interaction, and the company’s broader approach to personal health work together.
The New York launch marked Alloop’s official introduction of Trio ahead of its upcoming Kickstarter campaign, where early supporters can back the new wearable system.
