Servers.com by Nexcess extends its bare metal hosting with Private Data Center, complete isolation and network agility for a single customer
PR Newswire
GUILDFORD, England, Oct. 13, 2026
A dedicated segment of a data center where the racks, servers, and networks belong to one customer, designed around that customer’s needs and run by Servers.com engineers
GUILDFORD, England, Oct. 13, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Servers.com by Nexcess today announced Private Data Center, an expansion of its bare metal hosting that gives a single customer complete physical isolation of its infrastructure, along with the freedom to design the network, power, and hardware around its needs.

Servers.com by Nexcess already provides dedicated physical servers through Enterprise Bare Metal, Scalable Bare Metal, and Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) Bare Metal. Private Data Center builds on those products. Customers keep the same dedicated servers and add isolation across the entire environment around them, plus the flexibility to shape that environment to fit their requirements. More than 10 customers already run in Private Data Center environments, and the company is now making the offer available to all customers who need it.
“Since the adoption of Private Data Center, we managed to cut platform downtime by 70% in one year and had our NPS grow by 15%,” said Kiril Bolotov, CEO of Quadcode. “We’re improving our platform continuously, and adopting the right solution from Servers.com by Nexcess was one of the steps.”
What customers get
- Complete physical isolation. Racks, servers, switches, network carriers and power distribution are physically and logically separate from every other customer, with no shared hardware or network ports.
- Network agility. Customers work with Servers.com architects to design the network layout, choosing carriers, direct connections, bandwidth, and traffic paths for the whole environment or rack by rack.
- Hardware agility. Because the segment belongs to one customer, it can include non-standard hardware, higher power and cooling per rack, and equipment the customer supplies.
- A location of the customer’s choice. Environments can be built within any of the company’s 32 data centers across North America, South America, Europe, and Asia Pacific, or in any location the customer chooses.
- Familiar operations. Once a segment is running, the hosted servers inside it are set up with the same automated process used for thousands of dedicated servers, with the operating system of the customer’s choice or the customer’s own image.
- Engineers who answer first. Servers.com engineers respond around the clock, every day of the year, and a named account team stays with the customer from the first call onward.
“Our customers told us they wanted the simplicity of hosted servers with the isolation and flexibility of their own data center,” said Isaac Douglas, General Manager at Servers.com by Nexcess. “Private Data Center gives them that. We build the environment around the workload, our engineers run it, and the customer keeps control of what runs inside it.”
Who it is for
Private Data Center fits businesses whose requirements go beyond what a standard dedicated hosted server environment can offer. Private Data Center supports customers’ compliance efforts with isolated, auditable infrastructure. Customers keep responsibility for their own certifications.
Availability
Private Data Center is available now, starting at four racks. Servers.com scopes and quotes each environment individually, based on the customer’s location, power, network, and growth plans. Customers who need fewer than four racks can choose the Servers.com Private Rack solution. Customers can also add Scalable Bare Metal, which is billed by the hour, to handle peaks without leaving the same provider.
